Full Details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the Detailed Application Form (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2026. Candidates who qualified the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026, held on 24 May 2026, can now submit the DAF-I online at upsconline.nic.in.

The DAF-I submission window is open from 19 June to 28 June 2026. A fee of ₹200 is applicable (with the usual exemptions for SC/ST, female and PwBD candidates as per the notification). Only candidates who complete the DAF within this window will be eligible to appear for the Mains, which begins on 21 August 2026.
